Sometimes...the first and best place to start learning words of a new language is with the body parts. So over the next couple of months we will be covering some of the major body parts from head to toe—cabeza al dedo del pie. We’ll start with “hair” and work our way down to “toenail.” Keep in mind these are very general terms of the Spanish language and do not reflect the various dialects and regional differences in words used for the body parts.

Happy Mother’s Day Feliz Dia de la Madre Feh-leess dee-ah deh la mah-dreh
